MAXIMUS VI EXTREME BIOS 1402

1. Improve system stability. 😉

2. Support New 4th-Generation Intel Core Processors

3. Before using the new Intel 4th Gen Core processors, we suggest that you first update the BIOS using USB BIOS flashback, or download the BIOS updater for new Intel 4th Gen Core Processors and then update the BIOS using it.

Anyone running overclocked and tried this BIOS?. I have not had the chance to try it yet.

Is it about the same as before? / Worse? / Better?

/Cheers

Works as the old 1302, except that the MB temperature is now much higher (always had 26°C, now at 33°C), idle, CPU at 3.9GHz.
Seems that Asus made an adjustment to the MB temperature indication.

But the real mobo temp is the same?

(Before was undermatched??)

I guess so. Can't measure it directly with an independend temp sensor.
Had ~26 before flashing and immediately ~33 after.

Had similar things before from Asus, they most probably just changed the indication to a more true value.

I had flashed a few minutes ago, but may mobo still at 26 rock solid, no matter if im on prime 95 (temp by rog connection)
