Same exact thing here. Almost everytime I shut down, I get an 05 code, system power stays on, Windows shuts down, monitor in powersave mode since Windows 7 shut down. All fans running and PC still appears to be on. Very upset. Samsung SSD, GTX 690, i7 4770k, Formula XI, Corsair AX1200i, Trident RAM, ALL STOCK SPEEDS. All brand new.

Sorry to hear that mate, do you have Intel IRST installed at all? If yes could you remove it and see if that sorts your issue out.

This thread is about a AMD processor and motherboard guys lets not mix things up with Intel products. 🙂 I will move the post to start its own thread.

Sorry, my apologies. I found this thread though google and not by browsing the forum. Yes I do have IRST installed. I'll give it a try. Thanks a lot for your help! Whats also weird is I have a Fanatec racing wheel hooked up to my PC as I am big into sim racing and if I have it powered on when I turn the PC on, it won't load into windows until I turn it off, lol. Strange. But thank you for your input Hivizman!

The wheel you have connected might benefit from having a different SATA port used? Worth a try.
