Maximus V gene Virtu MVP problems

I am having a issue with my Maximus V Gene
1. I enable virtu MVP in the bios(under system agents.)
2. I can not post, BUT I can get in bios, and while in the bios it does say the iGPU is enabled and is running at 850mhz. But I can not get past the boot logo, period. I will just go in a loop if I dont tap delete. I have tried re-flashing my bios and am on 1408, still the issues persists.

2600k 4.8ghz 1.44v
8gb 2133 10-1-10-24-1T
850w ZX OCZ gold.
I think thats all you need, if you need more let me know.
I tried OCN already with no luck, hopefully you guys can help 🙂

Hi General123,, welcome to ROG,, As far as I know Virtu MVP needs a GEN 3 CPU.. your 2600k is GEN 2.. Reset your bios ( disable iGPU multi-monitor ) and it should be all good again.. Hope this helps..

I´d go back to the older BIOS then, unless latest BIOS solves other important issues that need fixing.

I will probably just do this then.

I dont know if this is the best place to ask this question but i got my self in a bit of a prob. i tryed to instal lucid virtue mvp but it didnt want to procede since it said it cant detect my igpu. my rig is new i made it few days ago and is a follows : cpu intel i5 3570k,asus maximus v gene, 8 gb of patriot intel extreme masters limited edition ram which i run at base clock of 1600mhz,msi gtx660ti pe oc , cooler master silent pro m2 620 psu. well the thing is 1st i instaled windows 8 64 bit professional, and after instaling all drivers and updating bios to newest version i tought lets try lucid, but since the dvd that came with the mb says it doesnt support win8 and wont run,i instaled wint 7 64bit ultimate last night. after instaling it i tryed to instal the vga drivers from asus site it said i dont meet the minimum req for it so it aborted,i ofc loged back the deafult values in bios and restarted but even doh i can choose my igpu in bios in windows aida and everyting else i tryed says my hd 4000 is inactive. i can live without lucid but the thing is it bugs me coz i cant solve the problem even doh i got some skills with pcs ,any help is welcome i hope u gyz have some idea what the problem can be. p.s. didnt try this yet but i supose if i go back to older bios it might solve my prob but i kinda wish i can stay on the new one 😄

from my own experience, use the Lucid Virtu Wizzard.
It'll help you to solve problems.
I had the same reboot loop, and it was because I used a "recycled" version of Windows (created with another chip).
If your Hd graphics are inactive, the wizzard will activate it for you.
