I must be honest I really do not understand what you are saying in your post. The only thing I have understood is that 1309 did not work as you want it to work.

Please go back to 1204.

May I ask why do you need the version 1309 if your version 1204 is working fine? What gains are you hoping to get from it?

RST raid orom 11.6 (we have the old 11.0...), more stability, new options, best performance withe ssd raid 0, best compatibility withe new items like my new memory kingston predator... and i like to have the last update of my items (cost verry much money withe many bugs..) of course if its a server mother board for a company i will not update...
all people knwo today constructor not realy finish the product all time withe a lot of bugs and compatibility. 😉

hope asus will correct this big bug quickly (its a expensive mother board wneed serious bios development and Test)

I have passed on the information to the BIOS team and I hope there is a fix very soon.

The difference in RAID performance I have not noticed on my systems I tested the BIOS on.

I have updated the BIOS on my Gene board and am unable to duplicate this issue.

Could you please, do a full Clear Cmos and reflash your BIOS. I suggest that you download the BIOS file again. It may be corrupted in some way.

After you have completed the BIOS flash and your system has cycled through at least once to the BIOS screen. Repeat the CMOS clear.

I basically do a CMOS clear after each BIOS flash just to flush any residual from the system memory.

OK I thought as much that you had done so. 😞

So even though you are back in 1204 your system is not as it was? Or does it work correctly in 1204?

Have you completely removed the CPU and everything from the motherboard and cleared CMOS and leave you board overnight. Then build it afresh in the morning.
