Only problem is they already have my $. So ordering from another place not really an option.

I've had to cancel a single item in the past, they want you to cancel the whole order and then resubmit.

For anyone looking for the Extreme I contacted Asus just a few minutes ago. The rep said as far as he knew the Maximus V Extreme was not released yet and had no ETA but would check ASIpartner "Guess ASIpartner is a distributor" ASIpartner has the extreme up for order if your a partner, but has no units anywhere in the united states.

LOL! You should perhaps point him to crashdogy's picture of his Extreme on page #124, post #1235...or even better, to his unboxing video on YouTube and then let him (the Rep) explain why he claims it has not been released. Either that vendor knows somebody with pull, or he stole them, but no matter which it was, some people are getting that motherboard.

crashdogy, you have something special in your hands, among the first in the world evidently.

I told him about the vender and a member of the forum receiving one and the rep asked why didn't I order one then. I proceeded to tell him the vender claimed to have 6 in stock and I must have been order number 7  He then checked ASIpartner for me. Everyone I call says the 23rd or around that date

That was a horse's ARSE responce, if I ever heard one.

Well, back to mowing in the mid-day Florida heat...at least its way more fun than waiting for Asus to update us on the Extreme.
