Tyrus is Alive! A loud Hooosanna! He was brought back from the very brink by an adorable French nurse, may God bless her soul, nothing works better than positive healing protocol. Go Tyrus!:)

Yep ^^

Good looking rig Tyrus, is that Noctua on your chassis floor cooling a pump complex or 120mm radiator?

it's for cooling a 120 mm radiator with fan in push ( extraction ) of the chassis.

MeanBruceROG wrote:
Your VRM cooling must be outstanding with that water loop; I am guessing 18C to 24C?
So I don't know really because the motherboard don't give a good temp for the vrm, since the first start i'ts always around 47°c or higher, maybe a bad sensor I think, but my OC is stable at 4 Ghz .... But the CPU temp is around 30°c with an ambient temp around 23°c ... But I'm testing different position fan on the 240 Rad ( push or pull or push/pull , intake or extraction )

Edit: It's good now, 33°c for the VRM with a CPU OC @ 4Ghz ... it was my watercooling pump which increased a lot the VRM Temp ( 18 w .... so that's do 3.6 A and the fan pin header of the motherboard can support 1.5 A max ... ). I plugged the pump on the Phantom's rheobus ( it's too noisy in 12V ) and it's good ...

Are you going to change out your barbs to compression fittings?

All the loop is made with compression fittings except for the two barbs of the WRM waterblock, but if Nguyen or somebody in ASUS can tell us how he made this wonderfull adaptator ^^ ....

Guys has anyone used noctua nh-d14 with maximus v formula along with the cosmos 2? I looked everywhere but couldn't find v6gt in my country. Received three refunds from different sellers(Item out of stock).-( Only reason I don't want to go for noctua = weird fan color(X_X) and it might not let me install more corsair vengeance rams later(black slot). Worse case scenario, should I buy corsair Air series SP fans for nh-d14 heatsinks and remove stock noctua fans? Will they fit with heatsink without any trouble?

this whole thread inspired me to build my own rig!

I just got all the parts except the GPU, and will be posting my pics shortly.

My Noctua NH-D14 blocks the black RAM slots. NOT because of the fans, but because the HEATSINK itself is so massive.

Thanks for your reply man. Is it heavy also? It looks quite big in size. I mean size + fans = heavy weight champ.-))
- 4x Vibration-Compensators (for using NF-P12 as case fan)
- 4x Fan screws (for using NF-P12 as case fan)
120mm fan is optional to use? So after removing nf-p12 there would be enough clear space for black(b1) memory slot. Right?
