Pictures in reverse order, I got lazy : D

God do I hate cable management lol, cannot wait to get a new PSU, modular of course.

This is the clearance between radiator and RAM I managed to get when I created my own mod to hold the radiation.

Yes, that is tape holding the wires 😛 needed something to hold it while I worked.

If you look at the radiation I bent the radiator holding clips that came with the case and drilled a could hold on top. This allows for enough clearance between the RAM and radiator and allows you to keep the top two fans.

Love the wallpaper lol

Nice Rig Sam. Got nearly the same components.
Just a question: Are the 2 gb vram of the graphics cards enough for Nvidia-Surround? I have some concerns about it.
I'm asking, because I plan to sell my Samsung S27A750D for three Samsung S23A700D's to run them in 5760x1080.
Games like Call of Duty or Fifa should be no problem for my two cards, but I doubt that I can run TES: Skyrim with Mods on full details.
Can you tell me please, if you got some information for me?

Best regards

Wow your sig looks like mine 😛

Does that answer your question. The GTX 670 can perform like a GTX 680 with the right tweaks with NO PROBLEMS. I use the Asus GTX 670 because of how stupid simple they are to OC. I am currently playing BF3 in surround with 52 FPS, the lowest I have ever hit was 32 FPS and that was an insane battle on Caspian Boarder.
Also understand that is ultra settings and the GPUs running at 980MHz (stock!)
Here is an example of this post in surround.

Sam, I also changed out the stock Corsair paste (which is Dow-Corning) with Noctua NT-H1 and got a new tube, if old it gets hard and lumpy, I threw one that was half full away, when its new is should be smooth out of the syringe.

Moving colder room air directly into and thru your H100 radiator will most likely give you lower CPU temps than moving the warmer chassis air rising from your video cards into the H100. One last thing, might sound a little bit anal, but I had an Air Conditioning vent placed over the desk in the office, so in the summer, the refrigerated air moves directly down on the top of my chassis and is pulled into the H100, so that might explain my temps being a bit lower.

Your rig looks great man!:)

I changed like you told me. God was it a pain to remount the radiator lol. Lost a screw in the process somewhere in the case. I am just way to tired to find it lol. But as you can see in the picture above it lowed the temp by almost 6 degrees maybe more.

Edit, flickr stinks, I notice the picture is hard to read. I will post more when I return home.

You can drop your CPU temps by another 6 degrees Sam, if you position your desk under a large air conditioning vent and position the directionals so the refrigerated air is blowing right down on your H100, but it only works when the air is ON, but it runs all the time in the Florida summer. hahaha. Glad you like the results man.:p

Canadian brother has good taste in fans...

Glad you got my floridian back lol. Okay back to family dinner. I think texting under the table might be wrong.

Ps wondering about the PLX also

I had finally time to build the rig after repairing the work laptop.
Here are some pics. I have not achieved to remove all air bubbles yet ... have to be patient.

In this video, Marshall says the PLX chip is bypassed when running two video cards or less. With my single graphics card in slot number 2 the PLX has a temp of 53C-54C, at idle. Maybe we have to wait for a bios update for the PLX bypass to take effect...
