Any ram utilizing Hynix BFR H9C ICs should work well. I think that those GSkills may be sporting Samsung HCH9 ICs and while they will work pretty good, the Tridents with those Hynix ICs seem to play better with the Formula (and the Gene, so probably the Extreme, as well). See link below.

However, as I read the product page, it shows a 2133 part with CL9 and voltage of 1.5v. That would indicate that perhaps these modules are using a well-binned Hynix CFR (as opposed to BFR). The CFR is the lower voltage IC. One strange thing about that link is that If you keep reading down the product description, they then state that it is an 1866 part, as opposed to the 2133.

I think that has to be incorrect, based on the parts number.
To summarize, I would think that both of your links, as well as the Tridents I linked, would work quite well with your new motherboard. Availability and pricing should probably be the final determining factor, although the Corsairs will look good with the ROG board.
For 2x4GB kits I am personally going to be testing modules with all three of those ICs, as well as some Micron based modules. I also have some Elpida BBSE and Powerchip IC based modules for 2x2GB testing.
In a few weeks there should be all sorts of info out there as to what works well with these motherboards, but right now the info is limited. I do think that if it works with the GENE, is should work with the Formula and the Extreme.
