I see that you're in Jax now. We're practically next door neighbors, as I'm just south of Mandarin, across the Julington Creek, barely into St. Johns County.

MeanBruce, I like the driver. I just use my Stanley screwdriver set but that would be nice to have a ratcheting one. I found that the LED flash on my iPhone works well along with a well lit table.
Just ordered/shipped my Maximus V Formula from Newegg in CA today. Really excited to be able to put it in later this week!
I tried to order it this weekend but well we know how that went.

If anyone wants to know something specific about it I am willing to share and will hopefully be able to post some pics.

All is good. The rain turned my home into "waterfront" property, so it had to have gone up in value. Now I just need to sell it quick while the wetlands behind the house are still flooded.

Ok look at picture the lower heat sink that lights up, and the bottom Noctua NH-D14 bracket are really close if not touching paper thin on M5E. Too make sure it doesn’t touch just put a hand on it and pull well you tighten it down.

That is mighty tight. Tight is good sometimes, but this isn't one of them. Maybe they figured everyone using this mobo would be cooling with either water or sub-ambient. Wonder how the spacing is on the Formula.

...and speaking of the Formula, the Egg is now including free shipping at the $290 price point just like Superbiiz was doing. And who says competition isn't good for the consumer?

Honestly, I'm starting to rethink the Extreme and giving the Formula a little closer look. I wanded to be able to run 4 GPUs just for grins, however, that may not be enough of a reason for me anymore. Need to wait for some more user reviews before a final decision.

Guess I've been left out in the cold, made the mistake of preordering through NCIX figuring they'd get stock relatively quickly on the Maximus V Forumula.

WRONG, backordered with no ETA that they can tell me. Not to mention they said they had my ram instock, now they are saying July 17th. My current PC is limping along at the moment, not long for this world.

Anyone here know when they'd be receiving the board? I've been seeing formula's popping up all over the place.
