Makes me wonder what Nvidia stance is on 3-way SLI. They use to support PCIE 2.0 at 8x8x8 speeds. With PCIE 3.0 8x8x4 would be the same as PCIE 2.0 16x16x8 so I don't see a problem doing 3 way SLI on the Formula if you have PCIE 3.0 video cards.

I've seen thunder fx refered to as an external sound card.
1. Does it augment or replace the functionality of supreme fx?
2. One of the features of supreme fx was that supposedly it had a large capacitor to drive headphones. Does this matter if you are using thunder fx? Isn't that feature redundant ?

assuming the same case and cooling, will be extreme and the formula overclock roughly the same amount?
