Before you do as Sukara above me suggested. The reason you cannot have your wireless and LAN connections running at the same time, is due to the fact that there will be a setting (most likely) in your WIFI configuration that is set automatically to "disconnect on wired connection". You'll need to get into your Wireless Adapter's configuration to change it. As for the Bluetooth, sorry, don't know anything about using it with pc's really
My objective is to set up a DLNA server for my LG blu-ray player and eBook reader. This may be a stupid question, but do I also need an external router in addition to the wi-fi on the M5F? I shouldn't think so but I'm rather an amateur when it comes to networking.
I updated to the latest 0701 BIOS and disabled the Bluetooth adapter in the BIOS. I also disabled the Intel LAN and unplugged the ethernet cable. "Disabled Upon Wired Connect" setting is set to Disabled in the driver in Dev Mgr.
Below are the only options I see for both of Wireless adapter icons in Network Connections. I can only enable ICS (Internet Connection Sharing) on one at a time. I even disabled the LAN connection in the BIOS with the same results. But I don't think ICS has anything to do with the problem at hand. IPConfig shows "media disconnected" for both adapters.
I tried this solution but it also didn't work.

When I select the option to diagnose the problem I get the following. Trying to diagnose only brings me to a help screen.

Finally, this is what Wi-Fi Inspector shows.
