Maximus V Formula MemOk! light flashing

Hi there, I just finished my first build and would like to make sure that my Kingston Beast Ram (KHX21C11T3K2/8X) is DOA since I will be ordering the Corsair Vengeance 8GB kit (CMZ8GX3M2X2133C9R). The MemOk! Light is constantly flashing even though I have my pair of Kingston Beast ram inside their slots. Also I have nothing displaying on my monitor through HDMI to my MVF (I do not have a graphics card yet). If someone can help me with this I will be very grateful.

System Specs:
Maximus V Formula
i7 3770k
Corsair AX 860i
Kingston HyperX 3K 120 GB SSD
Rosewill Thor V2 case

Do you mean the 'GO' led, that enables MEMOK (blinking, MEMOK enabled), or the DRAM Q LED. I would clear the BIOS before doing anything else. Did it ever work or has it been this way since first boot. What Q code are you getting?

Install 1 stick of ram only and try to boot. Try each of them and see what happens. I would use slot A2. Also, make sure that your CPU cooler is mounted solidly against the CPU (good mount), which leads me to also suggest you verify that you have no bent CPU socket pins.
Current rig:
Asus MVE/32gb Trident-X 2400/1 Muskin Atlas MSATA 240gig - Win 7 Ultimate/2x Segate 3tb 7200rpm, 1 WDB 1tb (data backups)/1 PCIE SB Fatality/3770k delidded at 4.8ghz/2x EVGA 580 3gig (not yet on water)/2x LG BD burners/Water- Raystorm block, Rad-XSPC RX360v2, Res-Alphacool dualbay Repack w/D5vario, on distilled./PSU Corsair 1200i/NO case- on a 6' metal shelving unit, also holds my server, and drawers w/spare parts./46" Samsung SmartTV UN46ES7100.

Yes it is the GO led, and it hasn't worked yet. I checked the CPU and there were no bent socket pins. Also nothing is showing up on the Q code.

What QCODE is it showing on the DEBUG LED?

Look beside the 24 pin power connector for 4 QLEDs. Do any of them stay lit when you power on your system?

1. Disconnect everything from your motherboard.
2. Remove all the components from your motherboard.
3. Take your motherboard out of the case and put it on the box it came with. Start by examining the CPU socket for bent or missing pins.
4. Remove the CMOS battery again for 5 minutes.
5. Put it back into place.
6. Install your CPU and its stock heatsink.
7. Insert one stick of RAM into the DIMM_A2 slot.
8. Connect the 24 pin and 8 pin power cables.
9. Power on your system with the Start button.

Anything on the DEBUG LED now? Does the Go button still flash and are any of the QLEDs staying lit?

Nothing is on the DEBUG LED, and the Go button still flashes and none of the QLEDs are lit. I'm thinking that it might be a motherboard problem.

1. Download the 1707 BIOS from Asus website.
2. Format a USB pendrive to FAT32.
3. Extract the BIOS file and rename the file to M5F.CAP.
4. Put the BIOS file on your USB pendrive.
5. Shutdown your system.
6. Connect the USB pendrive to the white usb port.
7. Press the USB BIOS Flashback button/ROG Connect button for three seconds till the LED begins to blink, then release.
8. Wait till the LED stops blinking.
9. Power on your system using the Start button.

Does it post? Or is it showing the same behaviour?

Maybe try to unscrew the screws and remove the metal bracket on the Mpcie module and then reseat it on the motherboard try to start it.
