maximus iv gene z unable to boot from windows when onboard graphics is used

hi

i recently rma'ed my amd graphics card due to artifact card defect
so im hoping to be able to run windows using onboard graphics
im using asus maximus iv gene z and i5 2500k processor
im booting from bios but i cant enter o.s
it was just keeps on restarting from the first boot
when theres a gpu card installed
i can easily siwtch from onboard display and graphics card display on windows 7
the amd card will be able to be processed for a month or more so i was
hoping to use my onboard display just for browsing no gaming purpose
