Yesterday I bought that awesome board with the i7-3770k ivy bridge and 16 gigs of corsair ram 1600mhz (4x4)
and I have 400 watt psu (buying a new 800 watt soon) and the Gtx 470 (corsair H100 cooling)

when I started the board for the first time it only have the psu gtx470 core and ram pluged in (normal right?)

and an error code appeared on the debugging led's. It was F2 I restarded a few times and then it showed 2E

I left it runing on 2E for half an hour (config so I thought it takes time)

The board was frozen so I restarted And then F2 appeard again...

Cleard Cmos,Reseted the board(took the battery out for 15 sec) and reseted overclock (even that I didn't do any)

and now every time I boot its stuck on F2 and I gave It like 6-7 hours to be on F2
"Recovery Progress Codes F2 - Recovery process started"

its a progress So I gave it time... alot of time.....

can someome help me please?

Outstanding is what that is, if you let your system run through the post process you should get to a point where the onscreen prompt is asking for a boot device. Please confirm.

This is good by the way. It means your system is basically fine, and the problems you are having are near at an end. Notice you did not get any of errors you had before.

What I would do is download memtest86 (ver4.2 USB version is my choice) and test each stick of ram at first default and then once all passed each stick of ram at the XMP profile.

Glad your hear to help mate, lol!!!!, i see he has 16gig,it does make me wonder ????

Oh man... This takes hours... Okay I'll do it tonight

Thanks for the help everyone!!!!

Well I did a mem test to two ram sticks and now its on the third and When I tried to put it in slot 1 (The second slot from the CPU) It says Error "55" No Ram installed and when I put the ram in the slot 2 It works (The fourth slot from the CPU)

and that what it says "Error 55" when all the sticks are in....

Is it a hardware problem or something else?

Did the other 2 sticks you tried work in all the slots,or failed in slot 1,this is confusing, because if it was one of the sticks of ram,it would not work in any of the slots, and if it was one the slots, none of the sticks would work in that particular slot, hmmm.

OK thank you.

Let me try and describe what I think you are experiencing. If you were to put a stick of ram in the first two slots (closest to the CPU) your system will return the post code 55. If you place a stick of ram into the furtherest two slots your system will post.

Can you confirm this.

Okay I can confirm this and now I can use 2 sticks of ram (8gigs)

3 1 4 2 <-- ram slots

if i insert two sticks on 3 and 1 It wont boot and it will show Error 55

But if i insert two sticks on 2 and 4 it will boot

also a single stick wont work on slot 1

Should I try any other configurations ?

If it is a simple process to remove your cooler and reseat your CPU we can try the following.

Remove all from your system, CPU the works even the battery.

Clear CMOS let your system stand over night.

Reseat the CPU and mount your cooler.

One stick of ram furtherest slot from CPU.

No HDD

One VGA if you are using one.

Keyboard and mouse.

12Volt CPU connector.

24pin PSU power connector.

Power up.

In BIOS set XMP

Advanced memory settings ---> disable the quick training function.

Manually set your voltage for the DDR3 ram.

F10 to save and press enter.

Del to enter BIOS and then power down.

Add one additional stick to create a dual channel configuration.

Power on.

Report back if you are successful.

Why do I need to remove the cooler?

I have no thermal paste to mount it again

What is needed is to fool your system that you have installed a new CPU. Simple as that.

Try the steps without removing the CPU then and lets hold thumbs that it works. 🙂
