Hi all,

I stabalized my RAM today at the manufacturer rated spec of 1600 Mhz, the board originally loaded at 1333 Mhz. Did this in the BIOS by setting the Xmax profile. The profile correctly set voltage to 1.65, 7-8-7-24 T1 timing.

Mushkin Ridgeback.

The problem is that after I did this, I lost sound and internet in Win7. Re-installing the drivers for each didn't fix anything. Has anyone else had this problem? Would a BIOS flash be in order?

Nevermind, I've fixed it. Did see some similar issues in other threads though.

I reloaded the original BIOS profile under the toolbox (had saved it as a backup), and then set the XMP again. I suspect it had something to do with manually changing timings and voltage, which I had done before I set XMP the first time.
