Has anyone been able to flash this bios? I had the 0902 installed and it won't let me flash to the 0706 or any earlier version.

Normally you cannot downgrade with EZ Flash, so you would either need to use Asus Update (has option to downgrade) and risk nuking your Mobo (ain't so bad in offline mode) or do it the old DOS Method!

Hey,

I noticed you use the 16gb ripjaw x for your z68 Asus MAximus IV... .how did you get passed that error 2E? I'm setting up my system now and I can't for some reason get this to boot outside of 2 sticks. 😕 Ive tested all the sticks and they work I just want 16gb at 1866mhz... any idea?

The link isnt working
Can anyone upload another link please?
thanks

I tried Asus Update and it just hangs at "downloading".

I will have to get out the old USB boot disk, which is in a box somewhere.

Grab Bios from link above and see if you can get Asus Update to flash it in offline mode by browsing to file on your desktop (if file name is not same as update looks for simply rename it) cause these file names are far longer than were allowed in days past!

It may be your firewall blocking the file from the WWW!

Same as I told you in reply to your PM!

706 is PULLED, use 902!
