Maximus Impact Headphone amp

I just put together a new pc with this motherboard. And the volume seems really low at max with my headphones. I've tried changing the amplify level and switching settings makes no difference does anyone else have this problem?

Seems like I'm not the only one expecting the Headphone Amp to work problerty, like it is advertised on the retail box.

Any comments?

No, you are not the only one with this problem. The problem has been known for a long time now, but Asus seem quite about it, cus' no fix has been announced yet.

OK have bumped this upstairs along with the other mic and sound issues.
