Maximus III Formula acting strange.

Hello ,
I am wondering if some one here can help me out here.
I've got a Maximus 3 Formula board from a guy with the knowledge that the board is bad.
And i want to get running again.
The board starts immediatly after switching on the system. Lights up but there is no screen.
So the 'start' and 'reset' button doesn't do anything at all. Tried different options like with and without ram,
just one ram piece or with or without videocard. Also without cpu i get the same reaction.
The clear cmos button shuts it down and it will start again.
Only when i push the GO-button it stops at starts again with mem led flashing.
And i got a little light from the cpu led next to the power connector.

Could it be corrupt hardware like bad capacitor or is it a corrupt bios chip.
Hopefully somebody with the same kind of experience can give me some hints or advice to get this board running again.

Thanks for reading.

It is a dead board. They died quite a lot I recall. Most of the time it was the NB that was overheated and killed the mobo.
