Maximus Hero vi, SLI Issues

So my issue is that my computer will fully boot to desktop when running one card, but once I insert the second and put the SLI connector on it doesn't even post. the MOBO stops on Qcode AE for about 30 seconds, and then changes to A0. Any help would be highly appreciated.

Specs:

2x Evga 780 3GB
4770k i7
2x4GB corsair 1300mhz
asus maximus vi mobo
PSU ultra X4 1050W

Hello LeMourne, Welcome to the ROG forum.

Looks like a little testing is going to have to take place.

Try your cards individually then try the 2nd pici express slot with just one card.

Do both cards show up in the bios?

Both card work in the 1st slot

And both cards work in the second

I feel incredibly stupid. I had the HDMI cable in the wrong card. Thanks for the help, Nate.
