Maximus Gene VI - C2 stepping in the UK

For anybody still waiting for availability of the C2 stepping Gene VI in the UK (like I was), I've just received one of these from Amazon UK and confirmed that it is the C2 stepping version:

They still seem to be selling the C1 version too (and a bit cheaper) so if you specifically want the C2, make sure you order the right one.

There were no stickers or labels on the box or motherboard to identify it as a C2 - had to build my system and run CPU-Z before I could confirm it.

Hope this helps anybody who like me was holding out for the C2 - info on availability is still hard to come by.

Just for informations sake (I've spent ages trawling the tinterwebs)...It's all in the Manufacturer part code (see Amazon Item Model Number).

C1 = 90MB0FU0-M0EAY0
C2 = 90MB0E10-M0EAY5

Not been able to confirm this though through Asus' own (crappy) website.
