Maximus Formula vii Bios update question.

Hi guys just trying to update the bios for Formula Vii MB.

Have downloaded the zipped file and renamed it to M7F.cap. Is .cap correct or should I change it to .pup or something else?
I am planning on loading the file onto a 16gb Fat32 formatted pen drive and boot from there.

Please let me know if I am missing any steps.

If your system is stable, do not update the BIOS. But if you must, you don't need to name it to anything in specific if you're going to update the BIOS via the EZ Flash Utility in the BIOS. The file only has to be renamed if you're using the USB BIOS Flashback method.

Actually you don't need to rename the .cap file, just place it on your flash drive and your good to go.
