Maximus Extreme V: Anyway to have LED show CPU Temp?

Hey guys I have a Maximus Extreme V and was wondering if there was anyway to have the red LED show the CPU temperature? I used to have an EVGA board that would do this, so I assume it's possible on this board as well.

Also, sometimes when I first boot my PC, it will not post at all and just shut itself off. It will then boot up on it's own again and everything is fine. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks for the help!

Welcome to the Republic of Gamers forums, Burke888.

The DEBUG LED only shows the QCodes. It cannot display the CPU temperature. As for the error you're having, can you please list your complete system specs for us as detailed as possible. And please check what version BIOS the motherboard is running.

When your system fails to boot and shut itself off, do you:
1. Hear any beeps?
2. See any Qcodes on the DEBUG LED?
3. See any QLEDs (4 LEDS beside the 24 pin power connector) staying lit?
