maximus 4 genz gen3 bios 3203

ok hi guys i finally able to get my system together and first boot i was able to go to the bios option..the bios version shows its bios version is 3204 build 3/02/2012...so am i all good with this bios or do i need to get the new version 3305? thnx

If your system is running ok with the shipped bios,3204,then leave it at that,you really should only upgrade the bios if it happens to fix a known problem that you might be experiencing,not just because it's the latest bios.:)

well there is a problem, it doesnt detect my hard drive...i tried ide, sata , and ahci mode still not detecting harddrive..so anyone know whats the fix to this? should i go ahead and flash bios to 3055..i will need a step by step guide to flash bios though pls help..i got a 4gb usb memstick can i use that to flash bios?

The first thing I would do, is make sure my power connectors are all correctly fitted. Check your HDD again, and also make sure your SATA cables are correctly fitted.

The go into BIOS and F5 enter

F10 and enter

Now go F8 and your HDD should be there.

If not replace your SATA cable.

I'm sorry,but you did'nt mention any problem in your OP,you just asked about upgrading your bios,but im sure HiVizMan has your problem sorted.

ya i just swapped my other hdd and its working fine now. was able to fresh install win 7...i thought that the mobo came with free daemon tools and kersparsky anti virus? i dont see it in the cd..where can i download them? thanx again

To download you will need to go to the support page for your motherboard and then navigate to the download section.

i did go to the support page for my mobo then i tried to download and all i gives me is bios updates and stuff but didnt see the anti virus and daemon tools..sorry if im jst being too retarded here but can someone jst post the link to the download page..ty
