Maximus 4 extreme-z - can i use the pcie 1x & pcie 4x with a 3 way Sli setting?

The 3 way sli was a single slot setting. can i use the 1x for Sound Blaster Recon 3D and the 4x for Revodrive 3 x2 ?

Hello in your manual there is a diagram that shows you the best SLI and three way SLI setting.

Slot 1 2 and 4 is what is suggested you use.

Chapter 2 section 15 refers.

i mean the PCIe 1x and PCIe 4x Slot. Can i use this Slots in combination with 3-way SLI. Is it possible with 3 x graphic cards + 1 x Soundblaster + 4x PCIe Revodrive at the same time?

I have seen problems reported that when they drop the Revodrive in their 3-Way Sli drops out. I am not able to test this myself but....

i have read on the OCZForum that if u move ur RevoDrive up in PCI-E x16_4 slot u will get better performance than from the PCI-E x4 at the bottom.

also that some have had problems running it in the PCI-E x4 slot on their Extreme-Z board.
