If you wish, I've succesfully modded 1707 bios including both efi and legacy 12.0 OROM and works like a charm. 🙂

The 1707 BIOSes with the latest RAID ROM ( 12.0.0.1783 )

( you need to flash them via the ROG USB Flashback procedure )

After flashing and resetting my overclock, computer will not boot right away after a restart. Gets to the loading windows and the windows flag won't appear before it reboots. Then wants to do a launch repair or normal start, after normal start a few times it will boot. Switched back to 1501 on the 1st bios and it works fine. any suggestions. did this on the 16 bios. Running maximus extreme 3770k at 4.7, vcore at 1.3, as long as I stay on 15 everything works fine.

Offset mode is still broken for me. A reply to the thread would be useful. I've been waiting weeks and heard nothing back from HiVizMan.

how is it broken?

by the way, I'm using the non-edited 1707 bios from the first post and everything seems fine for me. if i'm not using RAID, is there any point in getting one with the latest RAID ROM? would it help my SSD on the intel sata port?

even if you intend to use RAID the original BIOS with 11.0 OROM is still good as it still supports TRIM to pass through.

I believe Bluntwrapped is referring to SB chip not working correctly in offsets mode on Maximus V series, it's a known issue among many.

mmm I'm running a sandy with offset on m5g ... so what's this prob?

edit: if you mean the idle to low load transition bsod/reboot , just go to advanced/cpu configuration/cpu power management configuration and set enhanced intel speedstep tech to enabled, c1e to enabled and c3, c6 and package cstate to disabled. (on that same page multi should be at auto and turbo enabled ofc.). That will prevent vcore dropping way low at idle and keep it like 0,2v over the minimum you see with those at auto, stopping the prob to some extend.

Actually i run my 2600K only using offset and didn't have any probs other than the usual random sticky multy and the save settings problems...i sure hope these don't relate with the Sandy/offset otherwise i am doomed...lol
