M4E-Z and the VCCSA/IO setting.

Hello ROG friends,

I have the M4E-Z now and I'm just a little confused on 1 setting. All the other p67 and z68 boards have System Agent (VCCSA) and Qpi/Vtt (VCCIO). Even the M4E P67 does as well. My M4E-Z68 does not have separate settings. I DO NOT have a VCCIO setting anywhere for my Qpi/Vtt. The only setting I have is VCCSA/IO.

Now the thing is and I know, System agent is set to .925 on most boards. I know that the range for this setting is minimum is .879v and max is .971v

Now for VCCIO, That is set at 1.050v for most all boards and can be adjusted as needed.

What makes me think that my VCCSA/IO setting is my VCCIO setting is that it's set to 1.050v default. I know Asus wouldn't set the System Agent that high so I would assume that I'm ok to adjust this setting.

If anyone knows about this or has asked about it, please inform me.

Thanks,
Hambone

Not one comment. Nobody has any info on this? I'm sure I'm not the first to ask about VCCSA/IO on the M4E-Z.

Well looking at this pic. Looks like Bit-Tech thought it was ok to change the setting. The used 1.21v on the VCCSA/IO

Sorry leaving you hanging Hambone. I saw your post but didn't want to give you unconfirmed info. Basically as I remember it Raja said the two are linked through the board so you only have just the one setting. I'm afraid I don't remember which thread he posted it in though. And yes 1.05 is normal for VCCSA/IO.
