The self contained asetek coolers seem to be all the rage right now. I dont like how you have to keep the radiator inside the case though. I wonder if the single fan - thin radiator designs like the h40 are worth the money compared to a premium air cooler.

thumpz, the problem I see for WC you build is the case, with a 900, you don't have too much solution, aside of use an external rad at the back, is that an option for you ?, if not are you willing to change the case ? , what is your budget for your project ?

I don't think the Op is looking for a self contained solution.......

if your going self made kit it would be triple rad ,double rad 2 blocks pump res tubing ..cheaply done would be ..£250-300 some second hand parts ..
but yes on top of that you would need a big full tower ..so you could be starting at £400 ...in dollars not sure but $700 maybe ?

I figured I would run in to space issues with antec 900 case i dont mind replacing it can always use it for something else B) with possibly self contained cooler .......

so what would be a solid case to start with i dont mind spending few bucks for a nice one

I'm running practically the same set up as you, with a HAF 932 (big case 🙂 ) and a triple rad inside top.
If you go for the Swiftech H2O-320 EDGE HD Kit ($270 for the triple) all you need then is a block for your GPU (don't know if yours is a reference card or not, if its not you may not find a full cover block for it) and 2 extra barbs for the kit (one extra for the cpu block and one extra for the rad)
There is enough tubing in the kit to not need to buy anymore (if its an inside mount that is)

There are other makes, but I only know the Swiftech as its the one I installed in my machine and it works great, no fuss to find space for a resevoir and pump either as they are built into the rad 😉

You'll still have dust.
Perhaps you will run your fans at a lower rate in which you won't have to clean dust quite as often ...but if you employ a fan in your watercooling setup you will still accumulate dust.
