Okay, first intel build using the Hero VII and a 4790K chip. I have been building AMD machines for 10 years. For the life of me I cant figure out why my mbps went from the mid 80's down to 39mbps. I have reset my modem and it has no result. I checked the speed on my son's computer and it is at 77mbps and its not directly hooked into the router. I also have a Xonar U7 DAC that will not recognize in any usb port, yes the switch on the bottom is selected correctly. The DAC gets the windows popup sound on my son's and wife's desktops so I'm not sure. This is a fresh build and install, less than a day old. Anyone got any suggestions, and I did reinstall the drivers for the Intel LAN from their website. The DAC software will not install because it wants the device plugged in and recognized before it will download the driver.
On a side note, the usb ports work fine with flash drives and or any other usb device I plug into them.
