KeyBot & Corsair K70 - Issues

With KeyBot on, the dedicated media keys on my Corsair K70 keyboard (volume slider, mute, play/pause, etc) do not work/are ignored. Using those keys does nothing. However, if I turn KeyBot off - everything works fine. I like using KeyBot to boot my PC, but this is a bit of a deal breaker.

Any suggestions? Using latest KeyBot version from the ASUS website.

I know Corsair is having issues with software since the release of their RGB line of keyboards, I would consult them on their forums as well since they have a USB enumeration fix incoming according to them. They are also much more responsive than staff here so it might be worth your time to contact them.

I got rid of mine tbh. Using a Topre Realforce 87u now. Too many glitches with new gimmick based features that are non essential.

Thanks, I'll try and contact Corsair.

Btw, mine is the K70 non-RGB variant (didn't see the point in spending the extra) which doesn't require any extra software (as far as my PC knows, it's just a regular keyboard). This is why I thought ASUS might be the culprit here.

Same problem with my Corsair K60.
I chose media keys over Keybot macros, but would prefer both.
Read that it was a common issue with MB based macro functions disabling media keys, not only corsair and ASUS.
Will be testing some other keyboards out soon.

I have the same problem with my Corsair K70 keyboard.

I'm also disabling Keybot because the media keys and especially the volume control is more important to me but I'd love to use Keybot as well.

Try changing the order in which you install the KeyBot and Corsair softwares?
