hay guys , i have just finished a new build with the following specs:
.x6 1100T
IV fomula
noctua nh d14
16gb cl9 vengance low profile ram
sapphire HD 5770 vapour x
700watt psu ( its a good make so no need to worry about that )

of corse with other bits and bobs , but the problem is when i first made this rig i had a cpu LED error , this was solved by taking out and putting back in the cpu as i belive the cpu cooler caused abit of hassel . Now with that solved i have another problem , the dram light .......i have tried MEMGO booting , clearing cmos , reseting , taking the cmos battery out , taken it out of the case and used a bench (mobo box) i still have the problem . I have tried every combination with my ram in each slot but still nothing , although with 2 of the time i tested it seems the dram led flashes then goes to the cpu led then back to the dram led again ( like a system restart,, this was fixed by using memgo) any ideas ?
I was thinking of RMA the motherboard or the ram , although i cant find where to start with the rma of the board

If the board is new and bought from a retailer you need to contact the retailer to arrange a RMA.
To help us help you - please provide as much information about your system and the problem as possible.

But shall i RMA the board or the RAM ? and the board was bought over amazon and there 1 month warranty has run out

Let's try with one stick of ram, are you able to boot to BIoS

Please list the make & model of your PSU, is it new?
And do you have the 8-pin power connection to the CPU power header on the board?
And last, your CH4F may have an older bios, bios 1102 is required to run the 1100T.

the psu is 700 watt , cant find the make thing it was crosair (modded case) but checked it out and its delivering everything at the right volts. The 8 pin is in and the bios chip ends in 1005 ? which to me is unkown version , but if the bios requires and update , how can i update it without being able to enter it ?

If you have a Corsair 700W unit, then you should fine.
We need to assume that you're CH4F has an older bios, possibly the original bios (0505).
You will need to install a CPU that is supported by bios 0505.
Then flash to bios 1102 or newer, then install your 1100T.

awh but if the problem is the cpu then the cpu LED would be red not the dram LED ?

No not always - because the memory controller is on die now the distinction between where error codes for CPU and error codes for RAM stop and begin is quite blurred.
