Issues since updating BIOS - Please help

Hello,

I updated my Maximus VI motherboard to the latest BIOS (from asus' website) yesterday. I had been experiencing frequent blue screens and found a post indicating that others with the Maximus VI were receiving the same BSOD error and that updating the BIOS fixed their issue. Anyway, everything seemed to go well yesterday. My system appeared functioning, no BSOD (thought it was only occurring 2-3 times/week, so it's still unknown if this resolved them or not). I got home from work today and woke my computer up (it sleeps after ~3 hours and was left running all night). When I woke it up, I received an error stating that it was unable to resume windows normally and that it recommended I reboot my machine if I continued with the wakeup. I rebooted my machine, and now I have no internet connectivity.

Automatic IP configuration returns a 169.254.x.x IP address, manually setting my IP address using the correct subnet, default gateway and DNS servers does not resolve the Internet or network connectivity issue. I believe something with the BIOS update is the cause of this problem. Does anyone here any ideas? I'd really like to get my machine working asap. I am currently running Windows 7 Professional 64 bit.

Thanks in advance!

UPDATE:
I tried updating the BIOS again using the same update (same USB flash drive, just re-ran the update). This appears to have resolved the network adapter issue... I am concerned the problem will return. Does anyone have any notion as to what might have happened?

Check power management settings under properties for your network adapter.
Intel i9 10850K@ 5.3GHz
ASUS ROG Strix Z490-E
Corsair H115i Pro XT
G.Skill TridentZ@ 3600MHz CL14 2x16GB
EVGA RTX 3090 Ti FWT3 Ultra
OS: WD Black SN850 1TB NVMe M.2
Storage: WD Blue SN550 2TB NVMe M.2
EVGA SuperNova 1200 P2
ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601

Everything is checked in Power Management except "Reduce Link Speed during System Idle" and "Wake on Link settings"

I left my machine running overnight after re-applying the BIOS update. Upon returning home from work today, the same problem occurred. I captured the error message when waking my computer:
"""
Your computer can't come out of hibernation.
Status: 0xc0000411
Info: A fatal error occurred processing in the restoration data.
File: /hiberfil.sys
Any information that was not saved before the computer went into hibernation will be lost.
"""

Edit:
More information about my system:

Intel Core i5 4670K @ 3.4GHz
Corsair Hydro cooling
Geforce GTX 770

The problem started occurring after installing the "MAXIMUS VI HERO BIOS 1603" bios update.
