invisible storage

Hello i have been messing with my new build for a couple of days now, i finally got everything working except, windows does not see my 500gb static storage drive, i have my ssd's in raid 0 on sata 1-2 and my 500gb on 4 5-6 are set to ide with my optic drives on them. i have used the forums to help me figure everything else out, however i have not seen anyone complain about this specifically. any help would be greatly appreciated thx.

Right click Computer on the start menu and go to Properties, then go to Disk Management and see if the volumes show up there. Chances are you might just need to format them to NTFS.

Thx a ton RagingShadow7 that helped me out and i learned something new in the process, now i have a healthy static drive and added a 120g to mirror my ssd raid for backup. now to figure out why windows wont recognise my crossfire setup...
