From what I understand, the only difference you'll notice is 100mhz from stock core. The 4770k would be the preferred choice if you want to over clock your system, but if you don't plan on doing that, opting for a higher stock core would probably be a better choice, and slightly cheaper.
On a side note, something I found interesting though is the 4770 and 4790 cpu models (non-k) will allow you to do vt-d, which I'm still learning about, but to sum it up has to do with virtual hardware combatility and allocation, so mainly affects virtual machines. I've yet to see how VT-D helps with video editing and gaming, so other than the mhz difference just go with either the faster core or cheaper core.
