Installing Ram in DIMM's

Hello everyone.
Quick question:

I have a Rampage III Extreme MB, I'm going to put in 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3(PC-1700). I cannot find my Manual and I can't remember which Dimms to put the 2X4GB sticks. I know they recommend a certain configuration with the A1,A2,B1,B2,C1,C2.

Any help would be appreciated!!

But you will only be running dual-channel memory speed. You need 3 sticks to run full speed on that board.
It seems somewhat of a shame to use that memory at an effective speed of DDR3 1422. Your Dominators would have been much faster.

BTW, that's PC3-17000 (you missed a zero), same as DDR3 2133. When specifying PC speed you don't use the DDR3 prefix.

Correct. I was just checking to make sure the RAM was working.
Yep sorry I meant PC3 17000.
