Installing new hdd

Im stalling new hdd, my questions are
1. MBR or GPT?
2. The disk is labelled 0 (disk 0) should i worry about that since i use my ssd as boot drive (UEFI)

a rule of thumb : always go for GPT if you don't need MBR " MBR is a must for previous versions of OS"
because GPT can handle much more storage size , besides it writes your partitions information on both the start and the end of the disk so its always more safe to use it and easier to restore your data ..
