If I reset my bios and have a oc profile saved, can I restore the settings?

I am using an old P8z68-V Pro mb and don't really want to start from scratch, but if there is a profile saved, can it be restored after cmos reset? Where are those settings stored? On the hard drive? Trying to troubleshoot a vga no post after trying a new gpu.

Hello amajamar,

I'm pretty sure the profiles can be found in the bios on the tool tab.

Resetting the bios resets the profiles so they are not saved.

You can write the settings down if you can't remember them.

You can actually save and load custom profiles from the same Tools area in the BIOS if this board's BIOS allows for it. I have done it many times. I just save the profile to the same USB drive that I use for BIOS updating.
