i7 4790K OC settings

I would like a 4.7 OC. But I would also like to have the frequency drop to 4.0 when load is low.

MB: Hero vii
DRAM: 1600

Will adaptive voltage do so, or there are other settings to consider?

Hi Jack12

You can use adaptive this will allow the cpu voltage to throttle too.

Also set the windows power plan to balanced.
