What's version bios are you upgrade?
and
Did you upgrade the bios through EZ-flash? or live update tool?

i am upgrading to 1604, but i already have it, its a spoke personn from asus who told me to flash it again to solve mi issue with bluetooth.

i did flash it with EZ, but as the bios was loaded and the installation succesful, a windows appear saying the computer was going to restart with a button to authorize, but then it seem it froze because i wasn't able to valid the windows, and mouse was not responsive anymore, so i restarted it with reset 10 minutes after to be sure.

do i have to wait when the windows appear ? is it normal or should i trie again ?

also i'm going to open a new thread but it seem my graphic card is running a x8,how can i make it run at x16 ? i tried the force mode to run everything at x16, but of course that make my sound card not working, there is a lot of preset, but there is no value to it,what should i choose ? and why a graphic card run automatically at x8 on this MB ?

May I suggest something. It might be a problem depending on how you installed OS the first time. Is it a GPT or an MBR installation?Go to Disk management and check your system disk. If it has two partitions (a small 100Mb hidden one and one main, the rest of your drive), then it's a MBR. If you see 2 hidden and one main is a GPT.So after flashing your BIOS, enter BIOS go to BOOT TAB and fix your settings. For MBR, set as a boot drive the name of your drive and not UEFI WINDOWS LOADER, also go to CSM, set it ENABLED and all the other settings in there, to LEGACY ROM AND THEN UEFI.For GPT, boot drive has to be the opposite of the above. I don't remember correctly everything but you can get a rough idea, if this is the solution to the issue.
