How many fans?

Hey you guys, I was just wondering, how many fans can the Crosshair V Formula support? If desiring more than supported, how would you make em' run? Just asking this because it's always something I've been curious about and my friend wants to run about 10 fans in his, I'm not running as many as mine but when he mentioned it, it kind of got me curious as to how many this board actually supports and how to run even more fans if more than supported number via Mobo.

Thanks in advance!

go whit a fan controller, if you put too mutch stress on the fanports on the mobo you can damage it.
bether to go safe then to be sorry and regret in the end.

ive tried a few, and the best fan controller ive come across so far is a Tbalancer BigNG , its a circuit board you mount internal with 4 fan control channels 20watts a piece, im running 12 fans on one and you configure them via usb in OS and can have profiles etc, about 59 quids and it needs to be kept cool itself(mines mounted within an airflow region), mint tho.

the mobo should power 2 fans per header though too, allowing for 10-12 fans total, but as someone said i prefer a fan controller as if it blows ,its not as big a deal(ive blown front controller types/not my scyth kkarma tho) also the big ng has thru signal connectors so my scythe kalmer can display fan speeds(via bigNG) and temperatues( via own T couples)
