How do I update my BIOS in order to use IVY-E

Hi there,
heres the thing: I was using E5-2620 ES, this CPU is only supported by early version BIOS (R4E),
so my BIOS version has been on .ROM (before 1404)

Yesterday I upgraded my CPU to 4930K, and I know I have to update the bios to the latest to use it,
but the thing is I have to use the ASUS converter to convert .ROM BIOS to .CAP BIOS,
right now my BIOS is still 1404 and I can't even boot up, so the only way to update it is using Flashback,
so I have to flashback the converter first and the bios will be updated to 2103 or something,
with 2103 BIOS I still can't boot up, and the conversion requires booting up to finish the conversion
which means I can't update my BIOS to the latest version by just using the Flashback.

Anyone has any thought on how am I gonna solve this problem?
Thank you.

If you are referring to the "double boot" on cold boot, it is perfectly normal and it's required for stability. It's a feature, not an issue:)

Yes, I aware of this feature, but this one is different tho.
the double boot is when I boot it up and its up for like 2 sec and then re-boot, but my situation here is when I boot it up it runs for like 15sec and then shut down re-boot, and again runs for like 15 sec and re-boot, for at least 3 times. I'm afraid if it's something to do with the BIOS, since I messed with the BIOS badly yesterday.

disable ASmedia SATA port if you are not using

Clear your CMOS. Then proceed to enter the BIOS to load the optimized defaults. Save and exit. See if that resolves your issue.

it seems it only occurred that once, but my computer works very strangely, its slow and suddenly power down and start up during windows updat. Also there are so many unknown standard devices showed in device manager (like dozens).

I plugged my eSATA and a hot-plug drive bay into ASmedia SATA port, even tho im not using them at the moment but I shouldn't disable it should i?

thank you for ur helps.

ok the 3 times re-boots happened again, and its not just 3 times constantly but just several times, after i did a clear bios.
and the debug stopped at 01 before it reboots. I assume my BIOS is damaged?

Thank you all, I think I confirmed it's my BIOS1 is damaged cuz everything's been fine so far after I switched to BIOS2.
But I still got dozens of wired unknown devices in my device manager tho, it's probably due to RAID stuff.
