Highest Level CPU for R4BE

Since Asus gave up on any updates for RAMPAGE IV BLACK EDITION I am wondering what is the best CPU for this aging MB?

According to Asus website it is 4960X rev S1. Opinions? Looking to upgrade from my overclocked (4Ghz) 3930k. (or should I just bite the bullet and replace my MB?)

Yes, that would be the 4960X....

Replace? Depends a bit...if money is no object then maybe upgrade to 10 core broadwell E and a RVBE...when they come out later this year....

I use an Intel Xeon E5-2697 v2 in my RIVBE.
Works great especially in Maschine + Logic Pro X.

Also, the X79 Deluxe just got a BIOS update 3 days ago (3/2/16). Still possible there could be an update for us RIVBE users.
