My problem is strange, my Oc is stable on 4.6 mz vcore 1.4, past the test on the AMD Overdrive for an 1 hr.
My temps under 53c in cores and 62c in CPU. I think ok maybe mi oc is stable, then after stress test, shut off my pc, windows
close fine, but ... my hardware keep working, omg! so i need to turned off manually. I dont have any idea what is wrong with my oc.

i have the last bios, all the update of crosshair.
Someone can help me?

If i restart on windows, the cpu led red activate on the mother board.

Sorry but I'll need a bit more info 🙂

So your system is no longer POSTing? Are you getting an LED error code of "FF"?

I would of course go back to a non-OC setup just to get your system up and going again.

Ok i'll take screenshot of my settings in my bios, i don't have a error code my problem is after stress my computer never turn off. only the red LEd CPU on motherboard.
I appreciate your help 😉

Ok i send my settings 344423444334444344453444634447

Sometimes after the test stress doesn't shut off, only the "hardware" such as psu, fans and the h100 water cooling, maybe if i clean the cmos?, clear the CMOS doesn't erase the bios update?.

I don't have blue screens, and i pass the test in Overdrive
When i restart the red led cpu in activated.

So the problem is that after "stressing" your system it will not shutdown (are you using Prime95 or AIDA32/64 to stress the system)? So if you return your system to a standard configuration and stress test does it still have the same problem?

Clearing the BIOS only "resets" the values back to the factory settings; the BIOS you installed "stays".

I don't OC so I'm not going to be of much help to you. There are several guides/posts on this topic so I would suggest you do some searching on this forum or check one of the guides. Again return your system to a non OC state and test...if you still have the problem in a non-OC state then you have another problem.

Keep us posted on your progress.

yes that right, i use AMD Overdrive is like Prime 95, but this program is from AMD.

I return the original settings and after stress, works fine and i can shutdown.
So my problem is on my OC.

I try to relax the setting on the OC and when i have new information i'll to post them.

Thanks twice. I was looking on CD for something else and ran across the AMD Overdrive and was wondering what it was...thanks for letting me know!

Thinking that if you ease back on one of the OC settings you will be in good shape.

Ok i got it, i have stable the Oc on 4.5ghz on vcore 4.25, and in option on calibration CPU, activate the line calibration after this i can shutt off my computer after stress, well on some tutorial on ROG they said, "never turn on this" but this works fine from me.
I'll be making many test before to say everything all right.

---------------

Ok i have new setting, go up-volt NB CPU to 1.4, NB to 1.25 and this configurations can let me unvolting the vcore from 1.425 to 1.41. And my computer can shut down. I could say is complicated to create stability between several aspects. I'll to update my watercooling from h100 to XSPC 240 radiator, i hope this can help me to control the temperatures

Hi NerdBech, you still there? finally i can resolve my problem, but after this i replace my h100 to xspc 240 raystorm water cooling because i think the problem was on the temperature, but my problem was "ai suites II"... I uninstalled and my computer can turn off after shutdown on windows.
And finally change watercooling my temperature down 10 c :D, after many transformations, this is my computer 35307

PD. sorry about my bad english i'm from Mexico

Thanks for posting back on problem...so it was AI Suite then? Hum...someone else also had this problem a few weeks back on not being able to power down the system too.

Good job on lowering the temps by 10 degrees also 🙂

No problems on the english...I didn't pick up on you being from Mexico 🙂

Sorry about not posting sooner; we had a late spring snow storm up in in Wisconsin and I have been without internet due to the wet heavy snow taking down power/telephone lines.

Enjoy the system!
