Hello Guys

First of all, I would like to apologize for my English "well", I'm from Brazil, and few people speak English.

I am considering buying the Maximus IV GENE-Z, but I'm afraid of in question's PCI slot, because it is the Micro-ATX format, and has only two slot VGA's for .. My expectation is to use a GTX 560, and in the near future, buy one and do SLI, serious possible with these two slot's?

thank you

You shouldn't have a problem with SLI, i can easily fit a second GFX card into my Antec 300 case and that's a old one. The motherboard goes about 4-5 expansion slots downwards so it's quite easily able to expand 2 GFX & even a sound card, and this is a old case.

Simple words: Your fine.

Oh, Thank you, but if I could use two GTX 560 in SLI, without occupying a space of another?

Best advice is get some measurements on the motherboard and case, that'll tell you if you can have them fit. You can fit them into the "slots" but the case and position of board is going to be the MOST important factor to you using them with your computer, The cards them self are usable by the board but the size and fitting in the case is going to be the difficult thing.

The Gene-Z can do either 2x 1 slot, 2x 2 slot or 1x 3 slot cards so you should be fine for SLI 🙂

You can use two 560 cards in SLI as long as the cards are NOT 2.5 or 3 slots wide. SO no DCII cards for you. 🙂
