Hello, I have a big problem with my Crosshair X670E Hero motherboard, which gives me a black screen at startup. The DisplayPort does not detect my graphics card, which is a Sapphire Nitro OC RX 7900 XTX.
At startup, I get a black screen, and the DisplayPort does not recognize my graphics card (error code D6 displayed on the motherboard). Sometimes, during gaming sessions, the graphics card is no longer detected, and it automatically switches to the CPU's GPU. Upon restarting, the RX 7900 XTX is not detected in the Adrenaline software, while the CPU (7950X3D) is always recognized.
I have to clear the CMOS every time for it to work for a day or two, and sometimes just for a few hours before the issue starts again. The PC no longer recognizes the graphics card in the AMD Adrenaline software, except for the CPU, which is consistently detected. The black screen issue at startup has become regular, and it's very frustrating.
I have to clean the CMOS each time and wait at least an hour for it to work. Initially, I thought the problem was with the graphics card, so I uninstalled the drivers with DDU, reinstalled Windows, cleaned the PC, reconnected the graphics card, and cleaned its slot. I even sent it to the manufacturer, but they found no issues with the graphics card.
Everything else is properly connected and clean. I've also done several BIOS updates and rollbacks, but nothing has worked. So, I suggest the problem is with the motherboard. If you can help, thank you!

Hi @Okbadu13
1. Check that the Sapphire doesn't have a later VBIOS for the card.
2. If using any riser cables, please remove and insert the GPU directly into the motherboard.
3. Ensure all 8-Pin power connectors are correctly inserted.
4. Within the BIOS, inspect the PSU rail voltages from within the monitor section for any excessive sag.

I think I've found the solution to my problem. I already had it in mind except that I couldn't go back on old updates because usually I do the update by accessing the bios directly and from there I couldn't go back and I didn't know the other method of updating by leaving the PC off, I managed to force it thanks to this method, I went back to the old version, the 1905, and all is fine for now, thank you for your help
