Help Multiple ACPI Errors

Hi all i am having some issues with the ACPI driver for my new Maximus Hero Vii Board Event viewer is reporting several issues as follows

ACPI Event ID 13
: The embedded controller (EC) did not respond within the specified timeout period. This may indicate that there is an error in the EC hardware or firmware or that the BIOS is accessing the EC incorrectly. You should check with your computer manufacturer for an upgraded BIOS. In some situations, this error may cause the computer to function incorrectly.

ACPI Event ID 15
: The embedded controller (EC) returned data when none was requested. The BIOS might be trying to access the EC without synchronizing with the operating system. This data will be ignored. No further action is necessary; however, you should check with your computer manufacturer for an upgraded BIOS.

Kernel-PnP Event ID 219
The driver \Driver\WUDFRd failed to load for the device ACPI\PNP0A0A\2&daba3ff&2.

System Specs
Asus Maximus VII HERO (BIOS 0904)
Intel Core i7 4790k @ Stock
Corsair Dominator GT (CMT4GX3M2A2000C8)
Windows 7 SP1 on Corsair Force 3 SSD

I Have installed all the latest drivers and updated to the latest bios but I'm still getting these errors anyone got any ideas what I need to do to fix this?

How to get rid of the error? Are they harmful? The motherboard is faulty?

As far as i know there is no way to get rid of these errors at the moment.

The errors are not harmful to your system just annoying really.

And no your motherboard isn't faulty it's just a driver issue.

If you check your voltages from hwmonitor or hwinfo or cpu-z or anything else you 'll find out that those values are wrong. Only AI suite works fine with the cpu voltages. Does anyone really know if they will ever make a new driver?

I think I'm having a similar issue. I only noticed because it seems to be causing my cpu to remain constantly active even when idle, meaning idle temps are higher than they should be etc.

After I noticed the cpu usage from the System process, I opened its properties in Process Explorer and seen it was caused by acpi.sys, and i also have many of the same acpi warning messages in event viewer:

Nuts. Checked today and found that I am still getting the EC error after all. The InstallAll option didn't fix it after all.

I've got the exact same warnings like the OP.
I'm not experiencing any issues though.

I just noticed today that there is a newer BIOS out for the board - "2201". You might want to give that a try. I flashed it this afternoon and so far have not seen any of these errors since. So far so good.

Edit/Update: A day later I see that I have 2 of these ACPI errors in the event log. So it seems that the occurrence is much less frequent, but it hasn't gone away on my Maximus VII Hero with BIOS 2201.

I have the latest BIOS for my MB though(2012) - Asus Maximus VII ranger
There is no mention on the asus website of BIOS 2201.

Perhaps you mean that there is a new BIOS for the Asus Maximus Hero board.

I just updated that post with the latest findings. A day later I see that I have 2 of these ACPI errors in the event log. So it seems that the occurrence is much less frequent, but it hasn't gone away on my Maximus VII Hero with BIOS 2201.
