Its funny you mention that because I actually ran into these ACPI event logs trying to track down why I'm getting a solid color frozen screen about 5-10 seconds after resuming from sleep. It will do it maybe 25% of the time on a cold boot up as well, right after I can see the Win7 desktop, screen goes solid color and PC freezes and has to be reset. I'm thinking it may be Nvidia 760 drivers at this point because one of the few remaining events in the log when this happens is a Event ID 14 description cannot be found for source nvlddmkm, but I don't know.
You're right about Windows clean install having events as well, I was trying to narrow down a cause for the above and wound up applying to Microsoft 'Fix It' apps to resolve BS event entries.
