First things first. Hello Everyone. Newbie here 🙂

So yesterday my Rig took a dive. I thought well maybe just the SSD went bad since its a "SAN DISK Extreme". Since then I have replaced the OS Drive and reloaded the OS and all drivers updated versions. Now when I turn on my PC only a few of my hdd's are recognized I have 5 bays but only 3 of them are recognized in BIOS and Windows. I have changed cables, ensured plenty of power to the Rig, All hard drives have been tested and work individually but when I put them all together in the rig only 3/5 appear.

Go into Disk Manager and see if your disks are recorded there.
To help us help you - please provide as much information about your system and the problem as possible.

Yeah if there are not recognized in BIOS then Disk Manager wont see them either. But thanks and I double checked just to make sure 🙂

Plug them in one at a time. Disconnect the power/sata cables when doing so and you will see if its a hardware problem. Why do you need 6 hds anyway, just wondering.

Thanks for the responses.
Yeah, They all work individually as I said.

I have a lot of media and other projects. And allows me to separate work and hobby items.

I have seen heaps of posts about hot swap hard drive bays giving folks hassles. Not with this case so much, but wonder if that could the cause.

Is your system OC at all. Do you have this issue with F5 defaults set.

What bios have you tried.

you might check to make sure you ar not trying to use the two asmedia sata ports as boot ports, check the manual for the locations.
