GTX570 not detected in BIOS or Windows 7

This is getting really ridiculous, this is my 2nd IV Gene MoBo. The first one just stopped working after a week so I sent it to RMA but didn't get a refund because 1 pin on the processor unit was slightly bent. Byebye 150 euro's. Later I heard more people had the same problem with Z68 MoBo's because the PSU locking system is too tight on some of em. So I really think it wasn't even my own fault, I feel robbed!

While RMA'ing the first MoBo, I bought myself a second one (still hoping to get a refund on the first one). Well to be honest the second one worked perfect for several weeks. Untill today, I bought a brand new EVGA GTX570 HD DS (PCI Express 2.0) so I could play Battlefield 3 early beta. Something I was looking forward to and saved money for. Now this freaking MoBo won't detect this graphics card whatever I try, one thing I didnt try was reinstalling the OS, but I really doubt that's causing the issue. Because in BIOS it won't show the card either. I even got a brand new 650w SilverStone PSU so that also shouldn't be the problem. Please give me a solution!. I seriously regret ever buying this crap..

It could be a DOA card. Swap cards out and see if your old one shows up. If so, your new card is most likely DOA.

Well what I also forgot to mention was, right after I got the second MoBo, I bought a GTX560. I had the exact same problem with that one, as I dont have any other cards myself I couldn't test it and thought it would be my PSU causing the card not to show up. I went back to the store the day after and did get my money back for that GTX560. So then I waited and saved money to get a new PSU + a better card.

Been to the store and did some testing. The outcome is that the card is not DOA, but the MoBo doesnt detect nVidia cards (GTX550 Ti, GTX560 and my GTX570 HD, but does detect Radeon cards (6770 and 6950). They ordered a new one and I can come back probably tomorrow to test the new one. But how the hack is this possible??
