GTX 770 and black screen

Hello everyone

I installed a Zotac 770, and when I install the Nvidia driver, I have a black screen on boot (just after the animated logo of windows 7)

To summarize, I uninstalled the drivers, removed the old CG, put the new (WC) and started.
No worries when there is no driver installed (with horrible resolution) no worries either in safe mode

But as soon as I install the latest drivers, this is the drama.
The PCIE are plugged in the card fully seated.

I was thinking about a problem of the card, but since it works without driver and in safe mode, it will have to be software, right?

Thank so much
Sorry for my english 😄

You on Win8.1 by any chance? I have seen this a few times.

Return the old card to your system.

Remove the drivers completely.

Clear CMOS with the old graphic card installed

Then pull the card do the new one.

Clear CMOS and set up your bios.

Install new vga driver.

Hello,

I have Windows 7, I tested the clear mos, flash the R4E with 4702, made a new install of Windows 7 and it's always the same problem

For information, the keyboard is not detected after the logo of Windows 7 (the boot)
It is detected during POST

Graphics Cards is HS?
Or I tightened too hard the waterblock (I be surprised)

Thanks
Sorry for my english 😄

Tistou,
Are you connected to you monitor via hdmi cabling. Try a different one or a DVI cabling as see if you getting the same result. I had that happen to me with a bad cable to monitor.

Darn dude I am sorry to hear that, but if the older card is working then all that is left is the new card. Can you try to flash the bios of the new card to a UEFI one? If you do make sure you keep a copy of the original bios of the VGA.

It was the graphics card that was HS

With a 4930K, the PCIE 3.0 is enabled by default with a GTX 780?
With a 770, it is still 2.0
Sorry for my english 😄
