The MB sets my ram at 11-11-11-28-1t @ 1.65v (dual channel) CPU 3.4
The correct timings for this memory are 9-9-9-24-2N @ 1.5v. I tried to adjust the settings using Memtweak but PC froze.
The memory uses XMP so I went into bios and turned XMP on and it set the correct timings with voltage 1.5 but also OC my PC to 3.8ghz
NOW and AGAIN I'm having slowdowns and desktop explorer freezes about once or twice a day.
It seems strange that the MB is setting a higher voltage for a lower speed cas and a lower voltage for a higher speed cas.
I'm just a beginner at this stuff and just want to get my PC working but am not sure about how to get this ram working at normal speeds.
ALSO my bios version is 210 do I need to update. Just bought the motherboard a few days ago and have had nothing but problems most probably my own ignorance.
I would appreciate any assistance I can get.
